Remembrance FR 6
The GM33 'Remembrance' was launched by Skipper Christopher Pearsons' son Zac and following sea trials headed to the port of Fraserburgh.
The hull was moulded by Anderson Marine and then fully fitted out from a bare hull to the Skipper's specifications at our Macduff yard.
The aluminium wheelhouse and whaleback was fabricated in-house. She is fitted with a Doosan L066 engine and Dong-I gearbox. 1 Ton Seawinch Hauler and self shooting system with rail roller, baiting table, self shooting door and cat catch. For landing catches a PL1 winch and derrick is stepped atop the wheelhouse roof. There is 2 bunks fitted fwd, galley with microwave and sink. Wills ridley steering gear and kobelt engine controls are fitted and duplicated at the hauling position.
Dave Simcox of Electrotech Marine supplied and commissioned an extensive wheelhouse electronics package including Olex 3D plotting system, Furuno Sounder, Autopilot, GP33, RD33, SC30 satellite compass and Navnet Radar .
